The National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) Rev. (Amb) Samuel Ikpea has charged the Super Falcons of Nigeria to remain focused on their search for the ‘La Decima’, ahead of their final with the Atlas Lioness of Morocco in Saturday.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria beat Bayana Bayana of South Africa 2-1 in the semifinal to reach the final and the Nigerian foremost Supporters club boss in the country reacted to it.

Ikpea who spoke from the National Secretariat of the club in Lagos while congratulating the Super Falcons for reaching their 10th final urged the girls to be focused and claim their 10th Continental title.

“I have to first congratulate the girls for dethroning Bayana Bayana in the semifinal” Ikpea started. “It was a clear statement and having reached the final now they have to be focused and claim the La Decima’, which is a landmark achievement for the country”

“I foresee the home fans at Rabat trying to cheer up the Atlas Lioness at the expense of the Super Falcons, but the team must remain focused” “We (NFSC) would have loved to be in Rabat on an occasion like this to cheer the team up in achieving this feat, but the current position of the NFF on Supporters club have impeded the process” Ikpea noted.

“No African team has accomplished this feat, so it will be a great if the Super Falcons can accomplish this feat as we join them from here in prayers ahead of the finals” Ikpea added.

Ikpea further advised the technical crew of the Super Falcons to build up the psychology of the girls as this is very necessary for them as they will be playing against home fans in the clash.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will slug it out with the Atlas Lioness of Morocco on Saturday in Rabat, in the final of the WAFCON 2024.
