Africano FC President, Rev. Samuel Ikpea addressing the players after a friendly match at the NIS pitch in Lagos
“Organizers of the tournament have described us as a newcomer who will be looking forward to making history in the tournament, and we will try our best to make positive history”.
“Right now, our target will be to qualify from the group stage and avoid playing in the Wild Card and am sure that from there we can now move on”
“We have a technical crew who have been doing a good job and they must remain focused and keep the good work on the boys so that their  psychology will be focused on winning in a positive manner”.
Ikpea who also thanked the organizers for putting  the tournament in place described the tournament as a response to the yearning of talented youth.
“The organization of the event is World-Class, and I love the philosophy behind the tournament”. “This is just the third edition yet the tournament is paving way and giving young talent an opportunity to showcase their talents and aspire for greatness. That is very good” Ikpea concluded.
