It was a sunny day in Ariaria International Market Aba-Abia state in Nigeria. And this talented boy was seen going from shop to shop showcasing his hand-made prototype of military Hilux vehicle.  The name of the young man is Wisdom

There was excitement and conversations as Wisdom displays his work. According to Amara Onyena who was at the scene and also took the video, some groups of traders and passer-by had good words. Some also encouraged the Youngman with money. Although there were other spent discouraging words and expressions. Amara who is a researcher at the Maritime University in Delta State Nigeria considers these words as feedback for review.

Despite the challenges, the talented boy was full of hope and enthusiasm that his skills would give some joy. His joy would be that he has made a contribution to humanity. Whether this can bring him fortune someday, it will be a good dream of greater heights for him. Every child is special in their own way. Nonetheless, this talented youngster is one that Nigeria shouldn’t allow the skills to be slipped off. Just like the FUTO young minds that won global prices in Innovation. And the members of the FUTO Community that made ventilators to solve the serious covid19 medical challenges.

Through this period of the pandemic, Nigeria has seen herself blessed with people who have come up with various helpful designs. These design prototypes would be useful for Nigeria’s quest for technological advancement.

What will the people and government of Nigeria do about this type of young minds. Also, will Abia State take advantage of this type of talented boy?

We, therefore, hope that this comes out good.
