Bayern Munich Joins List of Clubs Who Want to Sign Osimhen

The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) Alumni Association, in a meeting held on 18th June 2022, has approved the holding of the FUTO Alumni Association National Convention.

The National Secretary, Comrade Azuaru Kingsley in a public notice released on 19th June 2022, stated that the National Convention was generally agreed by the Executive Committee on their approval to be an elective convention to elect new executives in the various offices of the Alumni Association. The meeting he wrote has been scheduled for the 20th day of August 2022 at Warri, Delta State.

The National Executive Committee following this approval by the Association’s constitution has further set up a 7-man Electoral Committee under the chairmanship of Comrade Stanley Madu to conduct the election in line with the stipulation of the constitution. Though no detailed information was provided as to the various offices, given the election, fingers are crossed in expectation as the Electoral Committee has been commissioned to put together the necessary information and other guidelines regarding the election.

The National Executive Committee envisaging a successful and fruitful convention has also set up a Local Organizing Committee to be chairmanned by Efe Kwas as well as a Fund Raising Committee to be chaired by Kingsley Ukwuoma to plan as well as source the necessary needs for running of the convention to fruition, he wrote.
