The lecture which will be embedded in the first General Meeting of the association for the year 2025 will begin with an 11 am Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025 at St. Agnes Catholic Church Maryland, Lagos, after which Imo Stars based in Lagos will be expected to settle down for the lecture within the premises.

Former National President, and former Lagos Chapter Chairman, Chief Enyioha Chris Anyanwu will anchor the lecture session, the vast and experienced leader who is also currently a Board member of the association will be expected to share invaluable insights on the Core Principles that define an Alumni association.

With his wealth of experience, Chief Enyioha will also be expected to share groundbreaking experiences that have played significant roles in uplifting Alumni associations all over the world, with the hope that members will draw inspiration from them and replicate the same with the IMSUAA both at the Chapter and National level.

Lagos Chapter chairman, Dr. Prince Nwaulu had earlier reiterated his administration’s desire to continue with the mobilization of all those who graduated from the Imo State University and are currently based in Lagos. Stating that the lecture, which comes immediately after the Thanksgiving Mass, is designed to give members a brainwave of what the Power House chapter aims to accomplish for the year.

Furthermore, the gathering which is the first for the year is also expected to create a conducive environment for socialization among men and women with hopes that there will be business network and leverage.

It will be recalled that the last time the Lagos Chapter had its last session was on December 14th, when they ended the year 2024 with a picnic at Oniru Beach.
