Nollywood Actor, Uzor Arukwe will be on stage to anchor as the Master of Ceremonies when the Federal University of Technology Owerri Alumni Association (FUTOAA) converge in Owerri this August for their Homecoming/convention.
According to a source close to the association, the 2025 homecoming which was earlier billed to hold in June has been rescheduled for August, with a final decision waiting to be made by appropriate authorities in due course.
The Homecoming of the Association will be the second edition since 2016 when the first was held, and it is expected to gather men and women from all walks of life who finished from the institution to discuss on developmental programmes of how to lift the institution.
The source further disclosed that the homecoming will involve mentorship of students who are currently in the institution by experts from various fields of life who graduated from the institution.
There are also plans for other activities which involve the convention, novelty football match as well as networking programmes which will afford participants to leverage on the homecoming and reconnect.
Arukwe, who will be on stage to anchor the talks will take full charge and will be expected to bring his wealth of experience into play to ensure that the guests are relaxed.
The event is also expected to draw the attention of Stakeholders in academics in the country as well as the Imo State Government.
