2025 FUTO Alumni Homecoming And Convention: Royal Father Unveiled

The Federal University of Technology Owerri Alumni Association (FUTOAA) homecoming/convention 2025 has officially named His Eminence Engr. Dr. Eberechukwu Oji as the Royal Father of the Day ahead of her homecoming /convention which runs from August 14th -16th, 2025 in Owerri.

The monarch who is also a product of the institution and currently the Eze Aro IX of Arochukwu Ancient Kingdom, in Abia State will be among the notable dignitaries expected to grace the occasion when the event begins next month.

Eze Eberechukwu will be expected to join a delegation of FUTOAA National Executive Council members, Board of Trustees amongst others to pay visit to the Vice Chancellor of FUTO on Day-1 where crucial issues will be discussed about the development of the institution.

His Eminence will also be on ground on Day-2 when the Morning Brilliance and Evening Elegance will be explored through building trans-generational wealth and strengthening alumni roots. A programme designed for dinner where networking and transformation will provide the opportunity for all to leverage on the power and pitfalls of co-investing with classmates.

His Eminence, Engr. Dr. Eberechukwu Oji who graduated in 1994 from FUTO, where he studied Electrical Engineering will also be expected to reunite with his classmates during the homecoming and share worthwhile time before returning to his throne in Arochukwu Ancient Kingdom, in Abia North of Abia State.
