The Director of Social of the FUTO Alumni Association Lagos Chapter was robbed on Saturday 14th April 2018.  According to Williams Momoh, this sad incident happened to him at Ilupeju near Fountain Church.
He narrated this
“Around 10am, I drove from my house with 90k. I branched zenith bank at ilupeju very close to captain and fountain of life church to withdraw 10k so as to make it up to 100k. Then I entered my car and drove off.”
Just as he finished and was leaving , he saw a car double crossed him with three persons fully armed with powerful guns. According to Williams “they shut in the air. I was so scared and shaking when I heard the sound of the guns. All the cars both coming and going turned back. The whole place was now deserted with no single human being around but just them (robbers) and me. Just to put myself together I held my steering wheel, closed my eyes and started calling the name of Jesus Christ! They opened the passenger door took the money inside the envelope and my phone. Anther person gave me a full dirty slap right on my face!“
The police eventually came to the scene of the robbery. Before then, Our DOS was in shock. He narrated the shock “I was just still holding the steering and didn’t open my eyes for about 24 minutes. About 35 minutes later the police came. They took me to the nearest hospital and later to my house. On the way, they were asking me series of questions”
We are happy that he is safe and back in full spirits now.
