Hacking communities

Hacking communities share strategies and tools and can combine forces to launch coordinated attacks. They have marketplaces for purchase and sale of stolen data. Hackers and cyber criminals are very difficult to track because their mode of internet activities make it diffult to see them. People now use the internet without knowing how much of their private information they give away. So, the hackers know these and when a system has been hacked they are usually being controlled by someone far away countries.

Countries are making efforts to keep their cyber space safe to shutt off hacking by creating legislations. Nigeria boast of experts in this field of Technlogy with skill like coding, systems testing, software engineering, database development, cloud computing etc. These experts, especially the young ones, need to be encouraged by the government. Therefore, the governmet should support the industry expertise.  One firm that has build capacity and garnered awards in the cybersecurity industry is Flexipgroup (FPG). Government legislations

Despite the slow pace, Nigeria may be hopeful. Recently, The National Assembly is considering a bill regarding Cybercrimes. Therefore, experts inputs should be serously considered to ensure that every required clause is included. The bill should consider approriate and measurable punishement for offenders. The punishment must relate to the size of the loss caused so this can send a message to the hacking community.
