The results Transcripts of every student is a document that should be easy to get after final exams. This activity has been stressful for so many and for some it has been so discouraging that they stop on their first try.
We have been receiving request from our members in Lagos on how to get their transcript easily and also how we can help facilitate it. As your officers, we promise to continue to find ways to serve you. This is the only reason we are together. Isn’t that what we keep saying? and yes We have made some progress.
We contacted Owerri for you. We tried to confirm that the university site for transcript is working on the FUTO portal. Dr. Laz Uzoechi confirmed that the site is working. He said that the “link is correct for online transcript application. However, after the application, a confirmatory email is sent to the applicant containing an attached slip. Efforts should be made to forward the printout of the slip to the Schedule Officer for the department at Exams and Records Unit.” This sounds good but we still have to move from Lagos to Owerri to be sure that our slip gets to the right hand for processing. But don’t worry ! We are working out something for you.
We are in discussions with Owerri Chapter of the Alumni to provide us this service at a token. This is better than spending money traveling to Owerri and back just to drop a slip. With this done for you, just go to sleep and the work is completed for you.
